Meet Pax Tandon

Hi, I’m Pax, author of the book, Mindfulness Matters, and producer of the “Mindfulness Matters” film. My highest mission is to teach every young person the skills and tools of holistic well-being so they can move from survival mode to real thriving. Thriving means you’re prosperous, successful and flourishing. In other words? Living your greatest potential. To get there, you must attend to your mind, body, and spirit. That’s what I mean by “holistic.”

I went through a deep depression at age 15. I was misaligned and off-course for years because I didn’t understand how to take control of my well-being. That led me on a path to understanding well-being from many different angles and approaches so that I would know what it takes to achieve it—for myself, and for other teens, too.

I have a Master’s Degree from The University of Pennsylvania (U Penn) in Positive Psychology, which is the science of what enables individuals and communities to thrive. I also did my undergraduate education at The University of Pennsylvania, with a dual-degree in Psychology from the College, and a BSE from Wharton. I have multiple certifications in mindfulness, yoga and coaching (to name a few), and I’ve gone as far as Peru and Mexico to do deep work with plant medicines in what we would call “spiritual” experiences. This is all just to say, I’ve taken the journeys, many of them quite intense and arduous, and done the deep-dive into well-being - mind, body and spirit. Now, I’m primed to give that information to you.

In the Mindfulness Matters for Teens program, I combine all of this knowledge into practical wisdom that teenagers can relate to and implement for life. I understand the unique pressures facing young people today—from school stress and social media anxiety to the challenges of finding focus and calm every day. I’m here with the solution, when you’re ready to take the journey.

I founded the Mindfulness Matters platform from the deepest place of love in my heart, and the highest integrity to serve. My intention is that it function as a supportive community where teens are empowered to take charge of their health and well-being, build emotional strength and resilience, align with their authentic purpose, and become responsible stewards of the planet and its inhabitants.

This is the place to discover your path to leadership and optimal well-being!
