Welcome!

The Mindfulness Matters Teen Ambassador Program is for self-motivated teens who passionately believe that holistic well-being (mind, body & spirit) is a birthright of every being on the planet. Apply HERE.

The hard truth is, many of today’s adult leaders, who purport to have the future in mind, are driven not by a desire to heal, but by an agenda of harm in the interest of financial gain. This has led to a planet on the brink, with rampant war, pollution and disease disrupting our health and threatening our survival. The good news is, with the right leadership and priorities, we can come back to a state of peace, health and balance.

Lean In

Meet Anya Jani, our Inaugural Mindfulness Matters Teen Ambassador.

Anya is a self-motivated teen with a passion for mindfulness research & application. She joined the Mindfulness Matters team as an intern in the fall of 2025, following an assembly at The Baldwin School, given by program founder Pax Tandon. Anya reached out to Pax to express enthusiasm for mindfulness, and a desire to learn more. In a world of short-cuts and short attention spans, AI and A-to-B, Anya’s boundless work ethic and creative depth make her the embodiment of a teen ambassador for Mindfulness Matters.

BIO:

Anya Jani is a sophomore student at The Baldwin School with a growing passion for scientific research and mindfulness. As a member of the school’s Science Research Club, she explores the benefits of mindfulness practices through a research lens. In addition to her academic interests, she volunteers at a local animal shelter, where she enjoys walking dogs and helping care for the animals. Anya is excited to serve as a teen ambassador for the Mindfulness Matters program and looks forward to helping grow the movement so that all teens learn the skills of mindful living.
